Chris concentrates his practice in both business transactions and employment litigation. Chris represents individuals and small business owners in both state and federal court relating to claims brought under Title VII for discrimination and retaliation, The Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA).

Chris also represents corporations, individuals and business professionals in buy-sell and purchase agreements, commercial and residential real estate closings, commercial leases, employment contract disputes, shareholder and partnership disputes, and estate planning.

Prior to joining Esposito & Staubus LLP, Chris's primary area of practice was in insurance defense. It was in that role that Chris spent a great deal of time in court representing clients at mandatory arbitration hearings and through jury trial in cases related to personal injury and property damage.

Prior to attending law school, Chris was a series 7 and 63 FINRA licensed senior bond trader. Chris spent seven years as a bond trader buying and selling fixed income securities for institutional investors. During this time, Chris develop the infrastructure and framework for his firm to expand into DTC eligible certificate of deposit underwriting as well as implementing the procedures and manuals for the firm to trade in municipal securities on behalf of its clients.

Chris serves as an arbitrator with the FINRA Arbitration Program and is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, and DuPage Bar Association.
